Who we are
This website is run by Skrīveru ciemata J. Vaivara zemnieku saimniecība "RAGĀRES", registration number 48701007747, registered at "Ragāres", Skrīveru pag., Aizkraukles nov., LV-5125, Latvia. We are the controller of your personal data.

What we collect
The site has two forms — a product order enquiry and a booking request for a farm tour or seminar. They ask for:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- for an order, a delivery address and the products you have chosen;
- for a booking, your preferred date and time, the number of people, and a company name if you have one;
- anything else you choose to write in the free-text field.
We use this only to answer your enquiry and to arrange the order or the visit. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box before you send the form.
The website itself stores nothing: it has no database and no user accounts. The completed form is emailed to us, and from then on it exists only in our mailbox.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers of any kind. Fonts are served from our own server rather than from a third-party network.
Cloudflare, which serves the site and protects it from spam, may set its own technical cookies. These exist for security, not to track you.
Embedded content from other websites
Some product pages and the About page embed YouTube videos. They load through youtube-nocookie.com, and only when you open a page that has one. If you play a video, YouTube receives data about that request just as it would if you had visited YouTube directly.
Pages with a form run Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects them from automated spam submissions. It checks the request without asking you to solve anything.
Who we share your data with
Form data reaches two service providers acting on our behalf:
- Resend, which delivers the form email to us. The company is based in the United States, so this is a transfer outside the European Economic Area;
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and provides Turnstile spam protection.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for advertising. We share it with no one else, unless the law requires it.
When you send a form we also briefly process your IP address, to limit spam and to verify the request with Turnstile. We do not store it and it is not included in the email. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms from being abused.
How long we keep your data
Correspondence arising from a form enquiry is kept for 24 months after we last hear from you, and then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to a sale, the accounting records connected to it are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
In respect of your data you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask for your data to be deleted;
- ask us to restrict the processing, or object to it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing that already took place.
To do any of these, write to eco@ragares.com. If you believe we are handling your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes, we will update this page and its date.
